Kilometers for a good cause

This year, our team once again took part in the „Stadtradeln“ event with full commitment – and with impressive results. As part of the campaign, we cycled an impressive 4163 kilometers, not only exceeding our target from last year by 1000 kilometers, but also securing 5th place within the municipality of Hausham. We collected a total of 2000 euros for the kilometers cycled and donated them to the Diakonieverein.

For the first time, there were two internal teams: Team Office and Team Workshop. We chose our most hard-working cyclists in an internal individual ranking, in which the first three places, Sepp, Walter and Hermann, were rewarded with great prizes. We look forward to getting back to the start line next year with full energy – for the environment, health and a good cause!

The donated amount went to the Gmunder Diakonieverein, which has a total of 40 employees working in various social areas. In addition to the work at the food bank and in care, a particular focus is on the “Ringelsocke”, a second-hand store.

The “Ringelsocke” is happy to receive well-preserved donations such as seasonal clothing, shoes, bags and jewelry, as well as baby carriages, toys, crockery and small electrical appliances. You can find more information about Diakonie, for example how you can make a contribution, at:
