Architecture and material only reveal their full effect in the right lighting. Because interior design and lighting go hand in hand, we like to develop both aspects together. The quality, color and temperature of the light source as well as the size, shape and aesthetics of the fixtures have a significant influence on the feeling of the room, the atmosphere and the overall sense of comfort. „That’s why we tailor each light beam to the specific spatial situation as early as the design planning stage,“ explains Elias Kronberger, Head of Design & Interior Architecture.
The lobby at the Haltmair guesthouse, for instance, uses special surface-mounted spotlights instead of traditional recessed spotlights to set deliberately placed highlights. Custom-made floor and wall light fixtures reflect the color concept and the aesthetics of the rooms. Quality is created in balance – this is also evident in the staircase of our „Wellness am Tegernsee“ project (LINK FROM PROJECT PAGE BACK). The round light fixtures in the stair well are striking and individually arranged. They extend from the second floor to the first floor. The wall fixtures, on the other hand, are understated and elegant. The interplay of the two light sources creates subtle shadows on the free-floating steps. Because depth is only created by light and shadow, we offer interior design and lighting planning from a single source.
