Achieving more together — with awareness of tradition, innovative power and sustainability in mind. That is our credo. For this purpose, we welcome visitors in the entry hall of our company headquarters with a dedicated exhibition area. Here we present art, handicrafts, interior design and accessories from our esteemed colleagues, arranged in a stylish ensemble.
We start with the side tables. A subtle difference in height and the clear, friendly design language create a natural effect. The side table Roman was conceived and designed by our partner Kevin Weiß and his eponymous studio. The tables are available exclusively at Eham and can be milled from various types of stone.
If the summer evenings cool down, the Sunji blankets from Patricia Schmidt are the way to go. Quality and dignified production do not always have to be regional. The ancient weaving technique for handmade quilts has been passed down from generation to generation in India for 150 years. Patricia Schmidt is committed to the preservation of traditional craftsmanship and therefore cooperates on equal footing with Rafig Bhai and her family, who produce each of the blankets themselves.
Let’s take a quick look at the floor before we turn to the artwork. Long planks made of Guffert fir wood, one of our favorite native mountain firs. Their slow and steady growth produces a balanced wood grain. The light, soft hue of Guffert Grey, combined with the natural surface, will only become more beautiful as the years go by.
And now for the painting — it is difficult for us to put into words just how beautiful it is. So here’s at least some backstory on the artist: Duda Moraes has a background in textile design, was born in Rio de Janeiro and currently lives in France. In our eyes, her floral compositions are just as multifaceted as her life experiences. We want to use this exhibition space to thank those who have been a part of our journey for many years. And because we believe that good interior design is created only with the recognition and appreciation of the work of others.
